One of my favorite things about real estate is making connections and building relationships with others! As a former teacher, I really believe that relationships are everything. I worked hard to build rapport and trust with my students, and found that when I took the time to really LISTEN to their needs, communicate well, and develop empathy, everyone was able to thrive and succeed. I find that these same principles apply to real estate and affects how I work with my clients, especially first time home buyers. I love listening to their needs, desires, and fears and helping to make the process as straight-forward and stress-free as possible.
I felt honored to represent Portside with my colleague Brian Maiorino at the Bliss Wedding expo in Portland, Maine, and share our enthusiasm for real estate with an audience. While we work with sellers, buyers, and investors, we guided our content specificially towards home buying as big life transitions, such as getting married, often call for a future move as two lives blend together!
In our evening speaking seminar called "Say Yes to the Address," we explained how to go from honeymooner to homeowner, as well as provided valuable tips and insights on how to navigate the home buying process, from securing financing to navigating the many components of a typical real estate transaction! Of course, we invited David from Structure Media to capture the amazing experiential event, as well as get some footage of us on stage during our speaking seminar.
